There is some thing delightfully comforting and ridiculous about the illustrations, colour and texture of the early 70s, I have collected DIY, Craft, allotment, gardening and house plant manuals to hack up. They have a yellow warmth, the endless shades of indulgent brown and rusty orange are enveloping, and relaxing.
Though I don’t know how I would cope in a brown and orange room.
